Well it’s been a while since my last blog submission, and all I can say is WOW!!! I am 95% complete with my website www.bigskyvirtual.com. The only thing missing is the shopping cart hookup, once that is completed I am ready to go!

My wife Nicole and I are very excited about this virtual tour adventure, she is serving as operations manager for our Montana virtual tour company. I also hired a photographer/account rep, Jordan Webber.

I began marketing in three publications, and have two fairs coming up. One with Green Directory of Montana www.greendirectorymontana.com (definitely check these guys out) on September 20, and the other with the Billings Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber has its annual fair and is limited for booths, 50 in all.

Let's see….business cards, pamphlets, letterhead, envelopes, notepads, prize registry pads, a 2x6 table banner, and a 7 x 3 vertical banner has all been ordered. Oh yeah, also logo shirts for all that will be working the booth ( I like uniformity).

Yes…it may sound like I may have gone overboard, but being in real estate I have learned it takes money to make money, but at the same time I have learned what works and what doesn’t when it comes to marketing. I can't wait to grow my virtual tour company.

Thanks a million to Team RTV for all their amazing help and support!!!

Professional Photography Gives the Right First Impression PDF Print E-mail

After reading an article from RISMedia I thought that all of the clients of Virtual Florida Real Tours should hear some of the main points of interest.

According to RISMedia in a recent study researchers found that the use of professional photography increases the perceived value of a home by nearly 12 percent. Additionally, 7 times as many respondents to their survey admitted that were very likely to visit the homes marketed with professional photography service than those houses which showed only property information.

Buying a house is greatly impacted by the first impression of the prospective buyer decision making process; a professionally photographed home will give you a better chance to influence the prospective buyer to visit your listings, and also will incline the buyer to make a higher offer. Perceived value is not the same as what someone ultimately pays for a property, but it sets the first idea as to what the property is worth in a buyer’s mind compared to other homes in the same neighborhood.

Real estate is a referral promoted industry and the satisfaction of your customer will undoubtedly generate more clients. Most clients will quickly understand that if you are able to invest a little of your hard earned money in obtaining a professional virtual tour of their home you are willing to go a lot further than the real estate agent that only wants to place a yard sign in front of their homes and hope for the house to sell itself. Customers will realize that their house is being set apart from the rest of the properties in the area.

According to Realtor.com more than 84 percent of prospective home buyers start their search on the Internet. The data also shows that individuals who viewed a virtual tour of a property felt the listing would be on the market for a shorter period of time when compared to similar homes.

Digital Insurance Documentation Service in Houston PDF Print E-mail

My wife and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary on September 12, 2008. As Hurricane Ike was about to hit our area of Texas, and we were having an anniversary, it was a good time to remember the good times, and also the more difficult times.

Dealing with natural disasters like a hurricane is definitely one of the more challenging things you can face. People prepare as much as they can, many evacuating their homes. One thing some people don't think about when living in a storm prone area is to document their belongings before disaster strikes.

This is something that Digital Tours and More can provide for businesses and homeowners. Digital Insurance Documentation Services is what you need. Digital Tours and More uses the latest technology provided by RTV to get the job done.

We come to your home or businesses and digitally photograph your high end possessions and can even do a panoramic view of the interior of your business and home. We compile a list of serial numbers and photos to hand over to your insurance agent just in case something were to happen.

Any home or business owner needs this kind of documentation in case of fire or theft, but especially if you live in a tornado, hurricane, or flooding prone area you should prepare for the worst by documenting your belongings. If the worst were to happen make sure you have the documentation needed to make insurance claims. Give us a call today to get prepared at (832) 247-0634 or visit our website at www.digitaltoursandmore.net/other-services
